- 1 litre semi-skimmed milk
- 1 vanilla pod
- 8 egg yolks
- 4 whole eggs
- 100 g caster sugar (250 g required in total for the recipe)
- the juice 2 lemons
- 150 g caster sugar
Instructions
Pour 1 litre of semi-skimmed milk into a saucepan with 1 vanilla pod slit open and scraped, and heat.
Mix 8 egg yolks, 4 whole eggs and 100 g of caster sugar (250 g required in total for the recipe) in a bowl.
