Step 1: Mirabelles
Wash the mirabelles. Cut them in half and remove the pit. Place them into a bowl. Add the cinnamon and the lemon juice, and chill.
Step 2: Sterilizing the Jars
Bring a pot of water to a boil, and place the jars and their lids in it for 10 minutes. Remove and set upside down on a clean dishtowel.
