Plastic wrap

There are two types of plastic wrap (cling film): cold-resistant (refrigerator and freezer) and heat-resistant. The latter is meant for use when cooking or in the microwave, and is designed not to melt at temperatures exceeding 100°C. It can be used for steaming or poaching food. These two types of plastic wrap can also be found combined in a single product under the name of “all-purpose plastic wrap.”
