Springform pan

Springform pan

Springform pans come in several different sizes and also in different materials, such as metal, silicone, nonstick, glass, and ceramic. As with any mold, their price depends on these two points. Springform pans are easily found at large retail establishments. Springform pans have detachable bottoms that make unmolding easy.

Springform pans are used to make different kinds of cakes and tarts.

Provided it is greased with butter and flour if the pan is not coated with nonstick material, the springform pan is simple to use. You only have to introduce the preparation into the pan and bake in a preheated oven. The pan shouldn’t be filled to the top, because the contents rise when baked. When taken out of the oven, the cake should be cooled before unmolding, which can be assisted with a knife tip.
